Phil Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band visited Chicago with the help of Eric Krasno and Karl Denson to form a dynamic ensemble as they ran through a number of Grateful Dead tunes and others including a brand new original.

“Lay Down Sailor” made its debut in the first set after select tracks like “Jack Straw,” “Like a Rolling Stone” and “Bertha.” The tune is a debut original from Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band.

Additional highlights throughout the show included a second set “Eyes of the World” and “Playin’ in the Band” as well as “Sultans of Swing,” the Stones’ “Monkey Man” made an appearance before the return to “Playin’” and CSNY’s “Ohio” brought the night to a close.
