The String Cheese Incident opened up a two-night stand at the Chicago Theatre last night, punctuating the night with a guest spot from Dave Watts, drummer and bandleader of The Motet.

The sit in came after a run of “It Is What Is Is” in the second set, when SCI launched into a “Drums” section and welcomed out Watts to lend his percussive skills. Watts will also be playing a special after-party tonight following SCI’s second show, when he will help lead The Dave Watts & Marcus Rezak Implosion at Chicago’s Tonic Room with unnamed special guests.

See last night’s setlist below as is appears in our Box Scores section, along with some set-opening videos courtesy of the band. String Cheese return to the Chciago Theatre stage tonight for round two, their final scheduled show before their New Year’s Eve run at Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre starting December 29.
