Dead & Company continued their fall tour with a stop at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, TX following a stop in nearby Dallas.

The show was a quintessential Saturday night performance all the way down to the “One More Saturday Night” encore. The group opened with a sprawling “Jack Straw” as well as the John Mayer-led “Cold Rain and Snow.” Oteil Burbridge got his chance to lead the band on “If I Had the World to Give” before all joined in on the first-set closing “Sugaree.”

The second set included familiar tunes in the Dead & Co. arsenal like “China Cat Sunflower,” “I Know You Rider,” “Dark Star,” “Uncle John’s Band” and “St. Stephen” before the “Morning Dew” closer.

The band’s tour continues this week with stops in New Orleans, Orlando and a finale in Ft. Lauderdale.
