The Wood Brothers will bring their tour to New York’s Irving Plaza early next year, and the band has added a second night to their stay in the city, along with an announcement of special guest John Medeski, who will be joining the group for both nights.

Medeski is a close collaborator of The Wood Brothers members, as the keyboardist is a longtime bandmate of Chris Wood in experimental jazz trio Medeski Martin & Wood, and Medeski produced The Wood Brothers’ full-length studio debut album Ways Not to Lose back in 2006.

The Wood Brothers and Medeski will play Irving Plaza on January 31 and February 1. Tickets for night one are on sale now, with tickets for the second night going on sale tomorrow, December 8, at noon. All band tour information can be found here.
