Yo La Tengo’s Hanukkah run at Bowery Ballroom in New York continued with special guests Jeff and Spencer Tweedy, who joined in for the entire show as the sixth night of the run kicked off last night.

The Tweedys, who were in town to play with Chris Thile at the debut of Live From Here (formerly A Prairie Home Companion), joined in on covers of The Beatles’ “Eight Days a Week” to kick off the show as well as Wilco’s “If I Ever Was a Child” about halfway through the set.

The elder Tweedy also led the ensemble on Dylan’s “My Back Pages” in the main set along with helping out on a four-pack of covers in the encore that included Neil Diamond’s “I’m a Believer,” T-Rex’s “Jeepster,” The Cars’ “Just What I Needed” and the finale of “Take Care” by Alex Chilton.
