On Sunday night, Lettuce wrapped up their three-night stand at Brooklyn Bowl in New York, once again welcoming jazz guitar icon John Scofield as regular Lettuce guitarist Adam Smirnoff took some time off to welcome a new member to his family.

The night also featured a surprise special guest, as singer-songwriter Matisyahu joined the band to close out their second set with “Trap.” The New Year’s Eve performance also included a couple nods to Scofield’s jazz prowess, as the guitarist chimed in during a run of cuts from Lettuce’s recent live Miles Davis tribute album, Witches Stew, “Black Satin” and “Sivad.”
