Two classic rock giants will come together for a summer tour this year, as Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers have announced a batch of co-headlining dates kicking off May 10 in Charlotte, NC, and running through mid-July.

The two band have a long history together, having shared several musicians between both outfits, including Michael McDonald, Jeff Baxter, and the late Cornelius Bumpus. After the passing of Steely Dan co-founder Walter Becker last fall, his musical partner Donald Fagen announced in a heartfelt remembrance that he would be continuing to tour under the band’s name, saying, “I intend to keep the music we created together alive as long as I can.”

The co-headlining tour will make stops in Florida, Atlanta, Nashville, New Orleans, Texas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver, St. Louis, Chicago, Indianapolis, Toronto and more before rounding out in Bethel, NY, on July 14. See the full schedule below. Tickets for the dates go on sale this Friday, January 12, at 8am local time for most of the shows. Pre-sale ticketing will be available for Citi credit card members beginning January 10. More information can be found here.
