The National will present their own Homecoming Festival in their hometown of Cincinnati, OH, this April, and the band has revealed the event’s inaugural lineup, which features Father John Misty, Feist, Future Islands and more.

The host band will also be playing a headlining show on each of the festival’s two nights. Also set to play the event are The Breeders, Lord Huron, Julien Baker, Moses Sumney, Alvvays and Big Thief, with more artists to be announced. Homecoming will take place April 28–29. Along with the new Homecoming, The National have also announced the lineup for Aaron Dessner’s multimedia MusicNOW festival, set for April 27–29 at venues throughout Cincinnati. Included in that event’s offerings will be music from Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Mouse on Mars, Kristín Anna Valtýsdóttir, Eighth Blackbird with Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Crash Ensemble, Bryce & Aaron Dessner, James McVinnie and more, plus works from Julius Eastman and Hans Abrahamsen featured along with the music of Philip Glass, Meredith Monk, Nico Muhly and others, exhibitions from Ragnar Kjartansson and Graham MacIndoe, performances by Cincinnati Ballet and more.
