After wrapping up his brief run with Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band with a special performance dedicated to the late John Perry Barlow, Eric Krasno returned to Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, CA, last night, and the guitarist brought some Friends along, plus special guests Lesh and members of Midnight North, who opened up the evening.

Krasno got the collaborations started by joining Midnight North for much of their opening set, then returned to the stage for a short trio performance before filling out his band with Midnight North’s Grahame Lesh, Elliott Peck and Alex Jordan, plus Jay Lane and Sean Nelson. Phil Lesh would join the group later on in the set.

Krasno and company kicked off the full-band portion of his show with a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “They Love Each Other,” and the set also featured classics like the Dead’s “Playing in the Band” and “Scarlet Begonias,” Smokey Robinson’s “I Second That Emotion” and Krasno’s own tune, the Allman Brothers Band-inspired “Curse Lifter,” which he recorded with Derek Trucks.

Watch both full sets below, via Deadheadland’s Facebook page. Tonight, Midnight North host a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young tribute at Terrapin Crossroads with special guests Lesh and Krasno.
