moe. opened up a two-night stand at the State Theatre in Portland, ME, last night, continuing their string of three such runs in the Northeast following their hiatus in the second half of 2017.

The band marked the occasion with yet another new tune, guitarist Chuck Garvey’s “Who You Calling Scared,” which was debuted in the middle of the first set in Portland. The group offered four other debuts during their two-night Capitol Theatre run in Port Chester, NY, earlier this month.

moe. also welcomed special guest Bill Waldron to help out on a cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Dead Flowers” following the debut. Waldron, a local pedal steel player, hosted moe. at his barn for a rehearsal and live stream at the end of last month. moe. would later close out the night with an encore cover of Blue Öyster Cult’s “Godzilla.”

See the full setlist below as it appears in our Box Scores section. moe. return to the State Theatre stage tonight for round two before heading to the Palace Theatre in Albany, NY, next week.
