This year’s Asbury Park Music & Film Festival in New Jersey has just made a new addition to its lineup, as John Densmore, drummer for rock icons The Doors, will take part in a panel discussion following the world premiere of the documentary Break On Thru: A Celebration of Ray Manzarek and The Doors at the festival.

The premiere and discussion will take place on April 28 at the House of Independents in Asbury Park. Along with Densmore, Break On Thru director Justin Kreutzmann, Doors manager Jeff Jampol and other guests will participate in the panel.

APMFF, set for April 27–29, will also feature music from Gov’t Mule, Michael Franti, Wyclef Jean, North Mississippi Allstars, Built to Spill, Sublime with Rome, Low Cut Connie and more, plus a collection of Bob Dylan archives, a screening of Grateful Dead documentary Long Strange Trip, a career retrospective discussion with actor Danny DeVito and more. All information can be found at the festival’s website.
