Bluegrass icon Del McCoury will release a new album with his band, titled Del McCoury Still Sings Bluegrass, on May 25, the same weekend as Maryland’s DelFest, headlined by the Del McCoury Band.

The new album’s title nods to McCoury’s 1968 debut, Del McCoury Sings Bluegrass. “What I like in a record is variety of moods, of tempos,” McCoury says in a press release. “I consider myself traditional at heart, but I don’t have any boundaries. I’m just a guy that likes to sing and play music. Whatever strikes me to do I’ll do it. Without wrecking things.”

The record’s lead single “To Make Love Sweeter For You” was recently debuted via Rolling Stone and can be heard below.
