After opening up their first tour as a trio since 1999 on Tuesday night, Trey Anastasio, Tony Markellis and Russ Lawton made their way to 20 Monroe Live in Grand Rapids, MI, for night two, which featured another debut for the band and more Phish favorites.

Anastasio and company kicked off the night with the rousing Phish live staple “Blaze On” and immediately went into the TAB debut of Phish 3.0 cut “Party Time” before the first TAB “Undermind” since December 2006. The song began as a TAB number in 2003 but moved to the Phish rotation in 2009.

Set two opened with a couple of regular TAB tunes in “Corona” and “The Way I Feel” and continued to take from the Phish repertoire with “Stealing Time From the Faulty Plan.” The set also featured TAB tunes like “Mr. Completely” and “Set Your Soul Free,” plus the first full-band TAB “Julius,” which Anastasio has only played once solo acoustic with the group, a rare full TAB band “Ghost” and the first TAB “Bug” since the “Classic TAB” tour in 2008. Anastasio would later open the encore with solo acoustic renditions of “Brian and Robert” and “More” before the trio reunited for “Show of Life” and the night-closing “First Tube.”

See the full setlist below as it appears in our Box Scores section. TAB Trio continue their tour tomorrow with the first of two nights at the Chicago Theatre.
