After collaborating at a memorial event honoring the late John Perry Barlow earlier this month, Bob Weir and Lukas Nelson once again shared the stage on Tuesday night during Nelson’s show with Promise of the Real at San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall.

Weir and Nelson have sat in with each other’s band several times in the past, and the two even teamed up with Barlow for a cowboy song writing session prior to Weir’s solo album Blue Mountain. As Deadheadland reports, last night in SF, Weir came on stage with Nelson and POTR for a run of tunes from the Grateful Dead repertoire, “Althea,” “West LA Fadeaway” and Bob Dylan’s “Maggie’s Farm.”
