The second annual Relix Live Music Conference will take place at Brooklyn Bowl on May 8 and 9, and the event will offer two full days of panels and discussions covering various facets of the live music business. After announcing the first and second rounds of panels and discussions covering topics like touring, album cycles, livestreaming, activism and more, RLMC has now finalized its schedule with two final panels covering festivals and business development.

Festivals

Peak summer festival season is just about here, and what better time to dive into the interworkings of those massive undertakings. Jordan Zachary of festival giant Live Nation will lead a discussion featuring Umphrey’s McGee manager Kevin Browning, Eventbrite’s Biasha Mitchell, Live For Live Music’s Kunj Shah, Ginny Suss of Okayplayer and Kelly Viau of destination concert event organizers Cloud 9 Adventures.

Building Businesses in the Music Space

Finally, RLMC will present a panel on building businesses in the music industry, featuring moderator and Relix co-editor-in-chief Dean Budnick, plus photographer and filmmaker Danny Clinch, Dan Parise of Diversified Production Services, Peter Shapiro of Dayglo Ventures and Ami Spishock of Fort William Artist Management.
