Last night, Neil Young closed his first string of shows with Crazy Horse in four years at Fresno, CA’s Warnors Theatre. The quartet opened the night with their first stab at the Ragged Glory cut “Love and Only Love” of the Fresno stand (though Young has performed the tune a number of times with Promise of the Real since 2014). Young and the current version of Crazy Horse, which includes E-Street Band guitarist and ’70s Crazy Horse member Nils Lofgren, stuck mostly to the material that filled the previously two nights of the run for the rest of their. On Wednesday, however, Young did offer his first take, with any project, on the Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere cut “The Losing End” since 2004.

Crazy Horse’s brief May outing will conclude with shows at Bakersfield, CA’s Fox Theater on May 5 and 6.
