Last night at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, Nashville rockers Moon Taxi brought their current tour in support of their latest album, Let the Record Play, and the band welcomed special guest guitarist Brandon “Taz” Niederauer during their set.

The young guitar phenom, who was one of the show’s openers, came up for an extended take on the Bob Dylan-penned classic “All Along the Watchtower,” which saw Niederauer take a solo that lasted well over three minutes and gradually took the slow-burn intro to the cover to frenzied heights. Moon Taxi keyboardist Wes Bailey also got in on the solo action before frontman Trevor Terndrup returned to the mic to bring the nearly eight-minute tune to a close.
