Prior to Huichica Festival’s two-day Sonoma Valley celebration next month, San Rafael, CA’s Terrapin Crossroads will be hosting their own Kick Off Jam to help get the weekend started. The event will feature a band headed up by Fruit Bats’ Eric D. Johnson, along with some special guests.

Joining Johnson at TXR will be Joe Russo, Cass McCombs, Dan Horne and William Tyler, with additional surprises promised. As with Huichica itself, the Kick Off Jam will be presented by (((folkYEAH!))) and Gundlach Bundschu.

Huichica Sonoma Valley will take place June 8–9, with the Kick Off Jam set for June 7. More information on the festival can be found here.
