Jim James, who will release his new solo album Uniform Distortion on June 29, has announced he will be playing full-band versions of the full record at intimate venues in New York and Los Angeles.

The NYC show will take place tomorrow, May 22, at Brooklyn’s Rough Trade, while the LA performance is set for July 18 at Pico Union. Tickets for both shows go on sale at noon ET today. More information can be found here.

No cell phones or recording devices will be allowed at the Rough Trade show, and all devices will be placed in Yondr pouches, a policy that has been utilized by various artists recently and has been the norm at all of Jack White’s headlining dates this year in particular.

James will also appear on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this week on May 23 and has one other date on his summer schedule in support of Robert Plant and The Sensational Space Shifters at Berkeley, CA’s Greek Theatre on June 21.
