The 11th DelFest continued from Cumberland, MD, on Friday, offering music from Mandolin Orange, The Brothers Comatose, Cris Jacobs and more, plus late-night gigs from The Dustbowl Revival and The California Honeydrops. One of the day’s highlights, though was a set from Greensky Blugrass, who fit a couple guests into their performance, including Del McCoury himself.

The first half of Greensky’s set featured some of their live staples like “Burn Them,” “The Four” and “Windshield,” plus a cover of The Beatles’ “A Day in the Life,” before dobroist Anders Beck introduced “Del McCoury,” which was actually someone dressed up in an oversized-head McCoury costume. A few second later, the group welcomed out the real McCoury for a cover of “Country Boy Rock & Roll,” a debut for Greensky.

The band was later joined on stage by Jason Carter on fiddle for “All Four,” while guitarist Jon Stickley came out a couple songs later for “Broke Mountain Breakdown” and a cover of the Allman Brothers Band’s “One Way Out.”

See the full setlist below, along with fan-shot video of “A Day in the Life” (via DCRANGERFAN) and the McCoury collaborations (via Rick Kline h/t Live For Live Music). Nugs.net is also offering a full stream/download of the show.

DelFest continues today with music from The Travelin’ McCourys, The Bluegrass Congress, Sam Bush Band, Billy Strings and more.
