Former Allman Brothers Band guitarist and band co-founder Dickey Betts returned to the stage last month to kick off his first tour since his retirement in 2014, and now the tour has been extended by two shows in August.

Betts and his band, which features his son Duane, Damon Fowler—a former member of ABB founding drummer Butch Trucks’ Freight Train Band—keyboardist Mike Kach, bassist Pedro Arevalo and dual drummers Frankie Lombardi and Steve Camilleri, will first head to Syracuse, NY, to play the New York State Fairgrounds on August 28 before moving to the Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach, NH, on August 31. Also on the band’s schedule are stops at Long Island’s Great South Bay Music Festival, NYC’s Beacon Theatre, Peach Music Festival, the rescheduled Florida Jam and more.
