From New York to California, The Rock and Roll Playhouse has announced a slew of Grateful Dead themed events for Father’s Day weekend.

Certain shows will even showcase special guest musicians. June 17’s Philadelphia shows will include Marc Brownstein of The Disco Biscuits and Mike Greenfield of Lotus. Additionally, the Berkeley, Calif. show on the same day will feature Ross James and Grahame Lesh.

According to the New York Times RRPH’s family friendly performances cultivate a love for live music from an early age and allow kids to “move, play and sing while listening to works from the classic-rock canon.”

With over a dozen shows scheduled in nine cities, Rock and Roll Playhouse could be the ideal place to take your favorite little rager and his/her Grateful Dad.
