This fall, a number of New Orleans music veterans will come together for a national Take Me to the River tour, which will feature bassist George Porter Jr., Dumpstaphunk’s Ivan Neville, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and more.

Also included on the touring bill are Dumpstaphunk guitarist Ian Neville, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, Lost Bayou Ramblers Duo, 79ers Gang and Terrence Higgins. The tour is inspired by the film of the same name and will kick off October 12 in Milwaukee, WI, before hitting stops in Illinois, Toronto, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Washington, DC, New York, Virginia, the Carolinas and more, wrapping up November 3 in Sandy Springs, GA.
