Dave Matthews Band took a break from their current summer tour in support of new album Come Tomorrow to stop by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where the band played a couple tracks from their recent effort and Matthews spoke with Fallon and even played along with one of the host’s sketches.

DMB offered a solid performance of Come Tomorrow cut and live staple “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin),” but the highlight was when the group teamed up with Questlove and Tonight Show house band The Roots for a ripping version of “She,” with the already thick guitar and horn lines and percussion filled out by the one-off supergroup mash-up.

Along with taking part in Fallon’s sketch about “new album” Dave Matthews Sings Trap Music—where Matthews offered intimate, acoustic versions of hits from the likes of Cardi B, Lil Pump and Migos—the frontman sat down with the host to discuss the usual late-night humorous anecdotes, such as Matthews going to a New York karaoke and being outshone by Ryan Gosling and why “Samurai Cop” is indeed inspired by but definitely not about the straight-to-video film of the same name, which Matthews describes as “not a great movie” and “a porn movie without much of the porn.”

Watch the two performances, sketch and interview below. Dave Matthews Band continue their tour tonight in Mansfield, MA.
