Groove rock quartet Aqueous made a splash at Electric Forest last weekend, playing at The Observatory stage on Friday June 22.

The band played a seven-song single set, opening with their original “Kitty Chaser (Explosions),” followed by the theme to Super Mario Bros. which they jammed into another original “Second Sight.”

Later they expanded upon “No Quarter,” Zeppelin’s 1973 track featured on Houses of the Holy. Aqueous took the song to new heights, stretching it past the 15-minute mark, and finding new musical avenues to explore.
