This past weekend, guitarist DJ Williams led his outfit Shots Fired in a show at San Francisco’s Boom Boom Room that featured a couple of special guests.

Along with Wiliams, who also plays with Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Shots Fired features a revolving cast of musicians, with Saturday’s show lineup consisting of core members organist Wil Blades, bassist Derrick Wong and drummer Max MacVeety.

During the San Francisco performance, Williams and company welcomed out Particle’s Steve Molitz for “The Mangle,” which Con Brio frontman Ziek McCarter joined the band for a cover of Tears For Fears’ “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.”
