Today we look back to February 1, 2007.

Trey at the Y, Fisk in the Barn

Trey Anastasio has outlined the plan for his appearance at New Yorks 92nd Street Y Wednesday. In addition to his previously announced discussion with Relix contributor Anthony DeCurtis, Anastasio will play a few acoustic songs and, following his formal interview, take questions from the audience. The guitarists upcoming appearance is his first in 2007 (though his first formal concert won’t take place until the night before Langerado at Ft. Lauderdale, FLs Revolution).

While Anastasio works in New York, Burlington, VT, sculptor Lars Fisk is preparing to serve as the first resident artist at the guitarists famed Barn. In addition to his work as artistic director at each of Phishs festivals, Bonnaroo, and Vegoose, Fisk created the Barn Ball sculpture featured on Round Room. Fisk will use the Barn for his own artistic endeavors and oversee the Barns artist residency program this summer.
