New York’s Nightingale’s served as a launching pad for many seminal jambands, including Blues Traveler, Spin Doctors and God Street Wine. The club no longer regularly hosts live music but remains open as a bar. This evening some of Nightingale’s former denizens will host the venue’s second “alumni reunion.” The night will also feature a handful of musicians who regularly played the club, including a special reunion performance by Xanax 25. Nightingale’s hosted a similar reunion a few years ago.
