Uncle Sammy has announced plans for a winter tour. The tour kicks off the second week in March in the Northeast and will route south including multiple shows in Pennsylvania, Washington DC, North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia. ‘We loved playing in the southern states last year and found out the true meaning of southern hospitality,’ says bassist Brian OConnell. ‘We hope to return the favor this time around with some great shows.’ The band will be touring in support of its latest release, In The Barn, a live album recorded at the 2001 Gathering of the Vibes in Red Hook, NY.
Uncle Sammy will play a CD release party Thursday January 24 at Harper’s Ferry in Allston, MA. For details, visit www.unclesammy.com.
