The Generations of Jazz Funk Artists began its mini-tour last night at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, CA. The line-up features Stanton Moore, Robert Walter, Phil Upchurch, Chuck Rainey, Red Holloway, Melvin Sparks and Chuck Prada. Last nights show consisted of a mix of jazz and funk, including Drink Muddy Water and Green Onion. The group plays tonight at Bimbos 365 Club in San Francisco, Friday at the Bluebird Theater in Denver, CO, Saturday at the Alladin Theater in Portland, OR and Sunday at the The Showbox in Seattle, WA.
