Widespread Panic welcomed saxophonist Randall Bramblett along with other special guests this weekend at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO. On Friday, guitarist George McConnell and Bramblett joined the band for Doreatha and Bayou Lena midway through the second set. Bramblett remained for It Aint No Use and Cecil Peanut Daniels sat in for an extended drum segment. On Saturday, Bramblett took the stage for Use Me during the second set. Last night, Jerry Joseph added guitar and vocals to Light Is Like Water and Chainsaw City during the second set. McConnell and Bramblett emerged for the encore, Lets Get the Show on the Road and Sometimes.
Bramblett was a member of Sea Level along with Chuck Leavell, Jimmy Nalls, Davis Causey, Joe English and Lamar Williams. Randall has sat in with Panic several times dating back to 1998. He also appears on Govt Mules album, The Deep End Vol. I.
