moe. guitarist Al Schnier joined Strangefolk during its late night set at the moe. or Les festival Friday at Marvin’s Mountaintop in Masontown, WV. The set kicked off around 2:30 a.m. and ended just after 5:30 a.m as the band played Til the Morning Comes. Schnier sat in for Cumberland Blues and Water. Als psyched to play with anyone at anytime, says Strangefolk bassist Erik Glockler. I just came out of the studio with him recording for the[Al & the] Transamericans album. The record also features moe.s Vinnie Amico (drums), Gordon Stone (banjo) and Freebeerandchickens Kirk Juhas (keyboards). A release date has not yet been set.
