Psychedelic Breakfast has announced the release of its third official release, Bona Fide. Material on the album was recorded live this past September at Pearl Street in Northampton, MA (live to 24-tracks, remixed and mastered by producer Vic Steffens). The disc will be in stores March 18 and available at shows beginning on February 14. The band plans to tour in mid-February, kicing off with a hometown CD release party at the Webster Theater in Hartford, CT on the 14th.
In other news, guitarist Tim Palmieri has confirmed more dates for his project, The Diesel Xperiments, which features a rotating cast of musicians and a different theme at each show. This Wednesday at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, MA, Palmieri will be joined Bill Carbone (Miracle Orchestra), Paul Wolstencroft (Jiggle) and Jeff Gitelman and Dan Edinburgh of The Usual Unusuals.
