In commemoration of the Congressionally-decreed ‘Year of the Blues’ the Bridgeport Blues Festival will take place on August 30 and 31 at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT. The roster of performers will include: B.B. King, Jeff Beck, James Cotton, Robert Cray, James Brown, Walter ‘Wolfman’ Washington, Chuck Berry, Galactic and Mofro. Seaside Park was home to the Gathering of the Vibes in 1999 and 2000, and like the Vibes, this event is also being put on by Terrapin Presents.
