The initial line-up for Jam Cruise 2004 the first-ever jam band music festival aboard a boat – has been announced. The cruise ship departs from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on January 6, 2004 and will return on January 10. Confirmed artists include Karl Densons Tiny Universe, Galactic, The Disco Biscuits, Keller Williams, Umphreys McGee, Particle, Bill Nershi & Liza Oxnard, Peter Rowans Reggaebilly, Mofro, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Jerry Joseph (solo), Z-Trip, Supreme Beings of Leisure and Tishamingo. Each act will play multiple shows on multiple nights, with the exception of Keller, who will only perform on the first night. Full details on pricing and reservations will be announced on Monday, May 14 although organizers say cabins will range from $500 – $1,025. Capacity is limited to 800 people.
