Traffic Nominated for Induction Into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Traffic has received a nomination for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. The list of nominees also includes legends such as George Harrison, Prince, Black Sabbath and Patti Smith, among others. Traffic, whose original line-up featured Steve Winwood, Dave Mason and Jim Capaldi, wrote several rock classics such as Dear Mr. Fantasy, The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys, Feelin Alright Paper Sun, Hole In My Shoe and Empty Pages.
The five to seven nominates that receive the most votes will be inducted in March of 2004.
