Friday Night Freakshow: Rock Opera Redux for Lo Faber

Lo Faber is following up his Henry’s House Double disc rock opera with another sweeping musical tale. Faber outlines the story of Friday Night Freakshow which seems to evoke Kurt Vonnegut, as follows…‘In a packed and raucous rock club, a local singer belts out her signature tune while a rumor goes around that the famous rock star Boy-O is at the bar and wants to sit in. In a forbidding mansion, which houses an Asylum for dangerous lunatics, Dr. Werner terland ponders the case of the delusional Frederick Tybus…In a spaceship 35,000 feet above the Eastern Seaboard, two alien beings from the planet Zlotar-17 ponder the meaning of mortality, enlightenment, and the pharmaceutical business…And in the Kingdom of the Dead, Hades whistles happily at the wheel of his new Mercedes….the black one, of course….’ While Henry’s House received a full-on theatrical treatment, there is no word yet on a similar disposition for _ Friday Night Freakshow_.
