Although the forthcoming Widespread Panic release will be titled Night of Joy, it actually originated at two performances. The groups November 6 and 7 shows at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC provided the setting for music on this disc. As with Another Joyous Occasion, the release will contain appearances from the Dirty Dozen Brass Band who joined Panic on those two nights (the third evening of the three show HoB run without DDBB has not been culled for the disc). The nine tracks include the bands covers of I Wish (Stevie Wonder) Use Me (Bill Withers) and Arleen (Winston Riley). The originals include Thought Sausage, Bust It Big and Bayou Lena and as well as the seventeen minute Rebirtha that closes out Night of Joy.
