Eric Clapton is going to host a three day festival in Dallas on June 4-6 which will culminate in a day-long concert in the Cotton Bowl. The Grassroots Guitar Festival will raise money for Crossroads Centre Antigua, the drug and alcohol treatment facility Clapton founded. The current roster of players tentatively includes B.B. King, Carlos Santana, Pat Metheny, Brian May, Buddy Guy, Jimmy Vaughan, Robert Cray, Sonny Landreth, Otis Rush and Robert Randolph (who will be opening European dates for Clapton with the Family Band). In addition to music, the two preceding days will offer interactive exhibits and clinics with leading guitar manufacturers.
