HeadCount host election parties on November 1 and 2 leading up to the presidential elections. On November 1, Rana, Big Fuzz, and the Katy Pfaffel Band will perform at New Yorks Mercury Lounge as part of a pre-election rally. The following day, on election night, Pete Sears, David Gans, Jamie Janover, Free Peoples, DJ Motion Potion, as well as members of New Monsoon, Animal Liberation Orchestra, and Samantha and the Ritual will provide the soundtrack to HeadCounts Election Party at San Franciscos 12 Galaxies. Attendees will also be able to watch the election returns on the clubs jumbo-TV. A $10 donation is suggested. With deadlines rapidly approaching, HeadCount registered approximately 50,000 new voters this past year.
