The Disco Biscuits’ first DVD release, _ Live at the Palladium _, is now available for pre-order. In addition to the group’s entire May 8, 2004 performance at the Worcester Palladium, this DVD includes ‘And the Monkey’s are Coming with Us,’ recorded at The Electric Factory in Philadelphia, New Years 2002. Backstage shots and audience interviews round out the film.

In celebration of _ Live at the Palladium’s _ release, The Disco Biscuits will host DVD screenings at New York’s Knitting Factory (11/23) and Philadelphia’s MarBar (11/24). Each ticket to the premiere will include a copy of the DVD. DJ Christian Bruna and Omen and D.R.O are among the DJs scheduled to perform at each event. Several members of The Disco Biscuits will also be on hand for the festivities.

As previously reported, founding Disco Biscuits’ drummer Sam Altman will leave the group following March’s AmsterJam. Altman, once known as the Professor, will exchange music for medicine as he goes forth with his medical studies. At press time, The Disco Biscuits have not announced a replacement. For six months in 2000, the band toured as a trio without bassist Marc Brownstein, a time during which the group was affectionately referred to as the Triscuits.
