On March 8, moe. will release the fourth volume in its _ Warts and All _ live series. Recorded July 18, 1998 at the Copper Dragon in Carbondale, IL, the three-disc set documents moe. at the tail end of its rise through the club ranks, mixing in older numbers (‘Bearsong’), covers (‘I Know You Rider’) and setlist staples (‘Rebubula’). A curious stage in the group’s evolution, this live release features one drummer: Vinnie Amico (percussionist Jim Loughlin rejoined a year later).

In other news, moe. will film its April 2 performance in Denver for a segment scheduled to air on HDTV this summer. The Buffalo-bred group also plans on using selected footage as part of its first DVD. For an up-to-the minute report, be sure to check out the band’s new blog.
