As reported on Relix.com , Anastasio will spend three weeks breezing through ballrooms, theaters and festivals this spring, making stops in Richmond, VA (4/26), Nashville, TN (4/27), Memphis, TN (4/29), New Orleans, LA (5/1), Columbia, SC (5/3), Charlotte, NC (5/4), Atlanta, GA (5/6), Cincinnati, OH (5/7), Milwaukee, WI (5/8), Chicago, IL (5/10), Columbus, OH (5/11) and New York, NY (5/13-14).

Anastasio will play by a new set of rules this spring. Unlike his previous solo outings, the guitarist has recruited a series of support acts, expected to be announced in the coming days. The former Phish guitarist will also donate a portion of the proceeds from every show to a local homeless shelter. Also, expect Anastasio to arrive in Richmond armed with a handful of new songs and an all-new backing band.
As we reported yesterday, Anastasio is scheduled to appear on the live compilation _ Bonnaroo 2004 _ offering up his own Curlews Call, while also backing Dave Matthews on Trouble. Other acts appearing on this two-disc set include The Dead, Bob Dylan, David Byrne, Govt Mule, moe., String Cheese Incident, Primus, Gillian Welch, Gomez and Umphreys McGee.
