In a recent interview for the Bonnaroo Beacon, Warren Haynes named Xavier Rudd as one of the emerging artists he was most excited to check out at the ‘Roo. After opening for Gov’t Mule on several of its Voodoo Caravan dates, Rudd finally made his first onstage appearance with Haynes last night at Chicago’s Navy Pier. of the group’s second set and remained onstage for ‘No Celebration.’ Earlier in the evening, noted Chicago guitarist Danny Draher also joined the Mule for ‘Nobody’s Business’ while a night earlier, Umphrey’s McGee’s
Brendan Bayliss made his second appearance with Gov’t Mule on ‘Sco-Mule.’
