Galactic guitarist Jeff Raines and sax player Ben Ellman will spend their weekend in San Francisco. The two will perform as members of the New Libation Orchestra, a sextet that also features DJ Quicky Mart, drummer Kevin O’Day (Kirk Joseph), bassist Chris Arenas (Raw Deluxe) and keyboardist Wil Blades (Motherbug). The group will appear at the Boom Boom Room on Friday and Saturday, with no other announced shows (although Raines and Ellman would appear to be available as Galactic doesnt pick it up again until August 25).
