The Meters came together once again at this years New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Now it appears that Art Neville, Zigaboo Modeliste, George Porter Jr., and Leo Nocentelli are going to be doing some additional shows in 2005 (and quite possibly beyond). As we reported yesterday, the group is slated to appear in Las Vegas on October 30 as part of Vegoose. In addition, on Friday of Thanksgiving weekend (November 25) the quartet will return to the east coast for a show at the new Nokia Theatre in New Yorks Times Square. Moreover, indications are that the band is open to playing some additional dates down the road.
