Proceeds from a night of music this Sunday at The Independent in San Francisco will be directed to The Tipitina’s Foundation and The New Orleans Musicians Clinic. The show will feature performance by numerous artists with ties to the Gulf Coast including Dirty Dozen Brass Band co-founder Kirk Joseph, who will perform with his Backyard Groove, Cecil ‘P-Nut’ Daniels and Papa Mali. Also appearing will be Roger Rocha and The Blue Swamis, Shotgun Wedding Quintet and members of Vinyl. Tickets to the show, which will begin at 6PM are tax deductible.
