In 1994, Jon Fadem took some time away from medical school to assemble Post Junction. The group, which began as an improvisational soul funk trio, eventually expanded to a septet before disbanding a few years later. Now, Fadem, who is currently working towards his Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Lehigh, has brought together a new version of Post Junction. He is once again on guitar and vocals, with Peter Fritz on bass and John Kimock behind the kit (Fadem describes the drummer, Steve Kimock’s son, as kinda young, but he’s a badass, really sophisticated). The group will perform this Saturday at Porters Pub in Easton, PA.
