A day before tickets are scheduled to go on sale, Bonnaroo has confirmed a major artist addition. Oysterhead, the supergroup featuring Trey Anastasio, Les Claypool and Stewart Copeland, will reunite for the first time since 2001 for an appearance at the fifth annual music festival. In 2000, Bonnaroo promoters Superfly created Oysterhead with Claypool for a late-night performance at New Orleans JazzFest. The one-off gig led to a studio album and full-scale outing a year later. More recently, Anastasio has added the Oysterhead signature Oz is Ever Floating to his solo bands live repertoire. Perhaps Bonanroos unofficial mayor, Claypool has performed at the multi-day festival every year since its inception.
