The latest Ropeadope Records genre-defying and perhaps genre-defining event will travel from coast to coast next month. The What is Jazz Tour will open at in New York City at BB Kings on April 4 and wrap up on April 13th at the House of Blues in San Diego. The Christian McBride Band will perform, along with the Charlie Hunter Trio with DJ Logic and a Bobby Previte solo set. What is Jazz will hit eight cities in those nine dates, including shows in Boston, Boulder and Los Angeles.
